Young And The Restless Scoop June 25: Diane Learns Patty Moved In With Jack – Nikki’s Condition Has Rapidly Deteriorated

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, June 25 reveals Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) worst nightmare will come true.

Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will pull Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) into a passionate smooch. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will find out Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) needs emergency surgery. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will lean on each other.

Y&R spoilers tease Victor will leave a voicemail for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), asking him to call him back. Then Nick will walk in and ask him what’s wrong. “Your mother’s very sick,” he’ll reply. Victor will add she’s got a mass on her optic nerve and could go blind.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki Asks If Her Vision Will Ever Be Clear Again

Meanwhile, Nikki will lie in a hospital bed. She’ll tell Victoria her symptoms are getting worse and she’s scared. The room is a blur and it seems like it’s getting darker. “What if it’s too late and my vision will never be clear again?” Nikki will ask.

Victoria will say she has to let her call Victor. The neurologist will walk in and Nikki will tell him everything’s getting darker. “The tumor needs to be removed, as soon as possible,” he’ll reply. But unfortunately, there’s no one at the hospital who can perform that kind of surgery.

So, Victoria will walk out of the room and call Victor. “We need your help, mom is in the hospital, she needs surgery as soon as possible, but there’s no one with the expertise to handle it.” Victor will tell his daughter he’ll take care of it. Nate will call Victor back and he’ll say Nikki needs a surgeon named Dr. Virginia Nottingham, based in New York.

Nate will will tell him Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) knows her and he’ll pass her the phone. Stephanie will say she knows Dr. Nottingham well and she’s an excellent surgeon. After she hangs up, she’ll call the doctor. Then Stephanie will say she can see how excited Nate is to discuss medicine. But he plans to do whatever he can to help Nikki, on the sidelines.

Back at the hospital, Nick will arrive. He’ll ask Victoria where their mom is. “She needs more tests,” she’ll reply and embrace him. Nick will ask why she didn’t tell him. Victoria will say he was going through enough. Then Victor and Claire will arrive and he’ll say he found Nikki the best surgeon in the country.

At Dr. Markham’s house, he’ll find Diane lying on his couch crying. She’ll say their session took more out of her than she expected. “What Jack did to you was a brutal betrayal,” he’ll reply. “And you just had to live that all over again.” He’ll ask if she’s thought about his last question and Diane will say she’d like to sleep on it.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Tells His Brother To Be Careful

Speaking of which, she’ll wonder if he’s thought about getting her sleeping pills. He’ll ask about her sleeping patterns and she’ll tell him about her nightmare that Patty’s in the house and taken her place. “Please, please, I need those pills!” Diane will exclaim. “I’m not trying to overdose, I’m just trying to fully engage for our sessions.”

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will ask his brother how he’s doing with the insane situation. Jack will say he met Dr. Markham. “That’s Patty’s therapist,” Billy will say. He’ll wonder if they should be talking there, but Jack will say Patty went shopping.

He’ll add he had Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tail Dr. Markham to a place near Powers Lake. “You’re not thinking of breaking into the guy’s house, are you?” Billy will ask.  “You, Diane and Kyle moved heaven on earth to find me on that yacht,” Jack will reply. Now he has to do the same for his wife.

Billy will tell Jack to be careful, as he heads out. Then Patty will arrive.  She’ll ask what he and Billy were talking about and he’ll say Diane. “If I’m just wasting my time, maybe Diane just needs to be collateral damage,” Patty will reply. Jack will say if she harms one hair on Diane’s head, he’ll make her regret it for the rest of her life.

Patty will smile. “There you are,” she’ll say. “There is the man I know and love.” Patty will ask why he doesn’t want to distract her from her terrible thoughts. So he’ll grab her and kiss her. Then Jack will ask Patty to make them a martini and he’ll sneak out the front door.

Finally, Patty will call Dr. Markham. “Listen, we may have a problem,” she’ll say. “Jack may be onto something, stay on alert, he may be headed your way.” Dr. Markham will hang up the phone and tell Diane her worst nightmare has come true. “Patty Williams has moved in with your husband, at his request.”
